Halloween is a time for celebration, parties, costumes and scariness.
Everyone celebrates Halloween differently whether they head to a party,
nightclub, giving out candy or going trick-or-treating. Whatever manner
you decide to celebrate you should have an appropriate costume for that
venue. Here are a few ideas to help you fit in at the venue.
Trick or Treating
When accompanying your kids trick-or-treating a costume is optional.
However, if you do dress up you might also get candy! As well, the
parents will definitely enjoy your effort. When choosing your outfit we
recommend selecting something that is related to your child's costume.
For example if you're son is Batman you can dress as Robin. Another
option is to dress with the same outfit as your child. This is fun as
you can have Batman Jr. and Batman Sr. and it usually turns out to be a
very adorable combination.
Halloween Party
Halloween parties are a fun way to spend the night with your friends
with your disguise. The great thing about a Halloween party is that it
doesn't have to be on Halloween night so you can still hand out candy at
your house. The costume you should wear for a halloween party can be
almost anything as long as it's age appropriate. You don't want to wear
something that is too risque or questionable to a party with kids under
the age of 16. The most important thing with these parties is to NOT
drink and drive.
Nightclub
Going to a nightclub for Halloween can be a great way to see some of
the most creative and original outfits that you can imagine. We
recommend selecting a nightclub that is having a costume contest as the
costumes are higher quality and more original. Selecting your costume
for a nightclub is simple as you really don't have much limitations. You
can be as risque or show as much skin as you want or be as reserved as
you'd like too. For the ladies we recommend something short cut that
will get the boys attention. For the men we recommend something that is
either funny or very original.
Giving out candy
When giving out candy on halloween night wearing a costume is
entirely optional. However, it is fun to dress up as the kids seem to
appreciate it! The costume you can wear can vary quite widely but two
themes are super fun. First, it's fun to wear something scary to try and
scare the kids as that's the main theme around halloween. However, this
might not be to your liking. Therefore, the second option is to wear
something that the kids will recognize and like. For example an
M&M's costume or superhero costume.
Remember, there are plenty of costumes to choose from and we've just
listed a few. If you are concerned about your costume not being
appropriate consider the average age of the people you'll be around.
From there you can determine if your costume is appropriate with a
little common sense. If you're unsure be sure to ask a friend for
assistance as a second opinion might be important.
