The Stunning Visual Effects Of Computer Animated Cartoons And Movies

When cartoons first made their debut in black and white so many years ago, children and adults alike were fascinated with Betty Boop and Mickey Mouse. Compared to the standards of today, they are not really that thrilling to look at, but for their time, they were great. It might be difficult these days to get a child to sit still and watch one of these old black and white cartoons because they are so simplistic. Children today have become spoiled with the high definition quality of the cartoons and movies that they get to see.
It is so amazing how far cartoons have come in just the past twenty years. Cartoon movies like Roger Rabbit were a turning point for them and they have just kept getting better and better. Today there are probably just as many adults that enjoy going to see films like Ice Age and Chicken Little because they are so incredible to watch. They are like watching all of the fantasy characters of an animation artist take on a real life of their own.
Of course, there are some of the old classic cartoons like Popeye, Yogi Bear, Scooby Doo,and so many more that kids today do still watch reruns of even though the graphics of those seem almost prehistoric compared to the newer high tech shows and movies. These old standbys are still good clean fun that is appropriate for all ages to watch and enjoy.
Along with the better visual quality of computer animated cartoons and movies targeted at children, there has also been an attempt to draw in more adults along with the kids to watch some them. The subject matter is a little more adult like at times and some could say that some of the subtle humor that is targeted at the adults in the audience is sometimes a little inappropriate to have children hear even if many of them will not understand the true implications of the dialogue. Some even throw in a few four letter words from time to time which in the past was absolutely taboo for a kid film.
Even if the better quality of images is great to look at for everyone, many people think that the subject matter should be left as clean as it used to be in those first old black and white cartoons, but then Betty Boop might be said to have been a little too sexy for kids as well. Hopefully, the movie industry will know where to draw the line when it comes to the content of these great new movies everyone loves so well and keep the movies and cartoons that are made for kids clean enough for kids to see.
